Editorial Process

  1. Manuscript Submission: Authors must submit their manuscript through OJS, complying with the author guidelines.

  2. Initial Review: The editor verifies relevance, originality, plagiarism, and formatting compliance. Manuscripts that do not meet the criteria are returned to the author. Estimated time: 2 weeks.

  3. Assignment to Reviewers: Expert evaluators are selected for double-blind peer review. Estimated time: 2 weeks.

  4. Peer Review: Reviewers provide reports on quality, methodological rigor, clarity, and relevance. Estimated time: 2 weeks per round.

  5. Editorial Decision: The editor determines acceptance, revision, or rejection of the manuscript based on the reviewers’ reports. Estimated time: 2 weeks.

  6. Author Revisions: The author makes adjustments according to reviewers’ and editor’s comments. Estimated time: 2 weeks.

  7. Editing and Proofreading: Format, style, and references are reviewed; the author approves the final version. Estimated time: 1 week.

  8. Publication: The article is published online, assigned a DOI and other identifiers, according to the publication schedule.

  9. Post-Publication: Monitoring of visibility, citations, and possible corrections is carried out.
